3A. If you are using an HTLM editor, must likely your editor will have a "publish" button or you can use an FTP utility such as WS FTP for Windows users or Fetch for Mac users. Click here for more detailed info on how to use these utilities.

If you are using a different a different software, here is the information that you might need to get connected.
Host Name/Address: users.bluebonnet.net
Host Type: Automatic Detect
Username: enter your username
Password: enter your password

4Q. How do I view the uploaded pages?
4A. Go to: http://users.bluebonnet.net/~yourusername/

Remember that your first page has to be called index.htm or index.html

 

The following information is designed to help you upload your personal web page to the internet.

The instructions below are written based on the following two programs, Fetch for the Mac and WS-FTP by IPSwitch for PC.

Do You Need Software?

MAC USERS

  1. Connect to Bluebonnet Internet.

  2. Start the program Fetch and logon.


Fill out the New Connection... box using YOUR username and password,
and then click OK.



Use the Put File... button to transfer your file to our system.

After transmission, check pages at your web site address.

PC USERS

  1. Connect to Bluebonnet Internet.

  2. Start the program WS_FTP and logon.



Create a New Entry and enter the above information. Enter password.

Click on Apply to save the information. Click on OK to begin the connection process.

Once connected you will see the main menu as displayed below.



After transmission, check pages at your web site address.
